MotoReet Open the app

The social app for motorcyclists

Stop searching for people to ride with.

Find riders near you, join rides that match your pace and ride with people you can count on.

Your address is never shown. Free, for riders and pillions.

The problem

A motorcycle ride shouldn't look like this.

A post in a group, forty comments, a separate chat to find out who's coming, someone dropping out the night before, and nobody knows how many of you will turn up.

MotoReet brings it all together in one place.

How it works

Everything you need to head out, nothing more.

MotoReet organises rides. It's not a GPS, and it's not a dating app.

01

Find a ride that suits you

Easy, discovery, brisk, sporty, off-road or Vespa. Filter by pace, by town or within a radius of home, and skip the ride you couldn't keep up with.

02

Know who you'll be riding with

Bike, experience, riding style and reliability: you see who has signed up before you join the ride.

03

No more chasing information

Time, meeting point, participants, chat and GPX are all on the ride. The exact spot appears as soon as your sign-up is accepted.

04

Pillion? You get a real seat.

Find the riders who are genuinely offering their seat, and choose who you ask to ride behind.

Discover

The rides around you, as a list or on the map.

Today, tomorrow, this weekend. Radius from 10 to 200 km, pace, discipline, free or paid, free pillion seat. The same filters in both views.

Profiles

Know who you're heading out with.

Before riding with a stranger, you look at their bike, their pace, and whether they show up when they sign up. That's what a profile shows.

Reliabilitycounts attendance, nothing else. Cancelling with notice is not a no-show.
Reputationis rated on clear criteria - punctuality, respect for the group, following instructions - never with free-text comments.

Pillions

Riding pillion doesn't mean being an afterthought.

On MotoReet, a pillion seat belongs to a rider. You know who you're riding with, on which bike and under what conditions before you get on.

Pillion: the person riding on the back.

The rideroffers their seat, says whether they have a top box, their experience with a pillion and the gear they can lend.
The pillionstates their comfort level and rules out the riding styles they don't want.
Free seatonly shows rides where a rider is genuinely offering their seat and nobody has been accepted on it yet.

Safety

You meet as strangers. That changes everything.

These rules are not options, and they don't get relaxed.

Your address is never public

Never. The Privacy Zone hides an area around your home: if a route starts there, only the town is shown - no coordinates, not even approximate ones.

The meeting point has to be earned

The exact coordinates only appear to accepted participants. Before that, you know the starting town, nothing more.

Blocking tells no one

Neither blocking nor reporting notifies the person concerned. Telling them would expose the person reporting to retaliation.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. MotoReet Free has everything you need to ride: profile, search, creating and joining rides, chat, pillions, reliability, GPX and Privacy Zone. MotoReet+ and Premium add comfort for those who ride often and tools for those who organise - never safety, which is the same for everyone.

Why not just a Facebook or WhatsApp group?

A group is for chatting. A ride needs a date, a meeting point, a number of places, an announced pace and knowing who's really coming: in a thread, all that gets buried under messages. On MotoReet, that information sits at the top of the ride, with the chat right next to it.

Do you need a motorcycle?

No. You sign up as a rider, as a pillion, or as both - and you can switch ride by ride.

Who can see my location?

Nobody in real time: there is no live tracking. Your profile only shows an approximate area, never an address.

Does MotoReet navigate while you ride?

No. We store and share a GPX file, and you open it in your navigation app. MotoReet is not a GPS and doesn't want to become one.

When on iPhone and Android?

Soon. In the meantime, the web app works on your phone just as well as on a computer.

Is it a dating app?

No. Matching riders and pillions is for organising rides, nothing else.

Your next ride may already be on MotoReet.
